Why this blog?
For years, I’ve dreamed of creating a travel guide for international visitors through my work in web-related fields. But my limited English always held me back… until 2025 changed everything.
When global streamer IShowSpeed (Darren Watkins Jr.) visited Chongqing, his excitement about our city went viral. Around the same time, I was inspired by Jiang Ge – a fellow Chongqinger from Rongchang who became fast friends with Speed despite speaking zero English. Their story lit a fire under me – if they could bridge language barriers through genuine connection, why couldn’t I?
